The writers here are a combination of BBC Four’s comedy show team “The Thick of It” and Armando Iannucci who has been behind more BBC comedies than anyone else alive. What we get in this script is the authentic voice of Satire Ð it’s a rolling mockery of the Civil Service, the Government, the American Government, the United Nations and of course, the War in Iraq.
